Changing the Melody is the second album by Lipz, the Swedish glam metal band the Klintberg brothers started in 2011, and their first for the Italian label Frontiers. After several EPs they signed to Street Symphonies, also in Italy, and debuted with Scaryman in 2018; touring Europe made their name, and the material they wrote during the pandemic was what caught Frontiers' ear. They name W.A.S.P., KISS, Billy Idol, David Bowie and the New York Dolls, and the record — the look of the band included — sounds like it arrived intact from the 1980s, full of hard rock with no hesitation in it anywhere. Ward Records issued the Japanese edition on 15 March 2024. Eleven tracks, about thirty-eight minutes.
