Return of the Heralds is the second album by Krilloan, the Swedish power metal band formed in 2020. After putting a few songs online they released the EP Stories of Times Forgotten in 2021, which caught on among power metal listeners and brought them a deal with Scarlet Records of Italy, effectively the home of European power metal; their 2022 debut Emperor Rising reached Japan as well. This one is classic European power metal again, with high vocals, melodic twin guitars and galloping drums, and lyrics drawn from Conan the Barbarian and Warhammer 40,000 keeping the fantasy front and centre. The album appeared internationally on 20 September 2024; Ward Records issued the Japanese edition on 29 November as GQCS-91534. Ten tracks, with an official video for Atlantean Sword and a lyric video for Hammer Of Wrath.
