Rock And Roll Over (Eddie Kramer 2026 Mix) is KISS's 1976 album in a new stereo mix, built from the original analog multitrack tapes by Eddie Kramer, who produced and engineered it the first time. Universal Music Japan issues the CD on 6 November 2026 as UICY-16543, the day the mix also reaches CD and LP elsewhere. Kramer came to the record straight from the band's Alive!, and the basic tracks were cut in a disused venue, the Star Theatre in Nanuet, New York, with Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and Ace Frehley in the main hall and Peter Criss in another part of the building, a video camera linking them. KISS's first album to ship gold, it was certified platinum within two months and peaked at No. 11, while "Calling Dr. Love" and "Hard Luck Woman" became top-20 singles. Michael Doret's artwork of the four members fronts a sleeve Paul Stanley counts as KISS's definitive cover; this edition recolours it in gold, red and black. The same ten tracks form disc two of the 4CD + Blu-ray Audio Super Deluxe Edition (UICY-80778 in Japan, 1,600 sets), next to the original mix remastered by Bernie Grundman, 22 demos, outtakes and alternate mixes, and Budokan recordings from April 1977, on the band's first tour of Japan. Only the Japanese pressing is an SHM-CD, and it adds a translation of Ken Sharp's album notes, lyrics and Japanese translations.
