From Hell I Rise – Extended Deluxe Edition

The extended deluxe edition of From Hell I Rise, the debut album by Slayer guitarist Kerry King's own band, issued by Reigning Phoenix Music on 17 May 2024. King wrote all of the material. With him are Mark Osegueda of Death Angel on vocals, Phil Demmel, formerly of Machine Head and Vio-lence, on guitar, Kyle Sanders of Hellyeah on bass, and Paul Bostaph, his Slayer drummer. Josh Wilbur produced at Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles. "Idle Hands" went out ahead of the record in February 2024, with videos for "Residue" in April and "Toxic" on the eve of release; "Where I Reign" followed in October. The deluxe edition keeps the thirteen album tracks and adds five demos with King on scratch lead vocals: "Crucifixation", "From Hell I Rise", "Two Fists", "Rage" and "Trophies Of The Tyrant". It carries new cover art by James Bousema and a revamped layout with more photographs. The label also describe a 666-copy earbook pairing two LPs with a live CD and Blu-ray of the band's first show at Reggies in Chicago. The overseas edition appeared on 19 June 2026; Ward Records issue the Japanese CD on 10 July 2026 with a Japanese commentary booklet and lyric translations. Eighteen songs.
