Knives in the Dark is a solo album by Jason Charles Miller, the American singer, songwriter and voice actor, and the first of his records to get a Japanese release. He is known as the frontman of Godhead, the industrial metal band who debuted in 1994 on the label Marilyn Manson founded, and has voiced more than a hundred roles in animation and games; he sang the theme for Final Fantasy XIV in 2019 and performed with the game's official band at the Tokyo Dome and Yokohama Arena in 2024. The solo records he has been making since 2009 pursue southern rock, and he has recorded with members of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Blackberry Smoke along the way. Kenny Aronoff, the drummer behind a long list of American rock albums, plays on this one. It appeared internationally on 16 August 2024; Ward Records issued the Japanese edition on 22 November as GQCS-91532. Ten tracks plus Wasted Years, a Japan-only bonus.
