This is a 40th-anniversary pressing of Powerslave, the fifth Iron Maiden album, first released on 3 September 1984. One side is cut as a zoetrope picture disc, so the artwork appears to animate as the record turns on a deck. It carries the 2015 remaster of all eight tracks in the original running order, opening with Aces High and 2 Minutes to Midnight and closing with the thirteen-minute Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The parent album was the third Iron Maiden made with Bruce Dickinson, and the World Slavery Tour that followed it ran to 187 shows in 331 days. Parlophone issued the LP in Europe on 15 November 2024, and it reaches Japan as an import.
