Conjuration Overture, Vanity Is Dawning is a four-track EP by Infected Chaos, a death metal five-piece whose own site describes them as an Austrian and southern German outfit assembled in 2013 from the remains of several local bands. It marks their tenth year, and when they announced it the band called it a prologue to the full-length album they had coming. Wormholedeath released it on 24 November 2023, and Wormholedeath Japan brought it here on 30 May 2025 as BITX-1375, an import prepared for Japanese distribution; it runs about 22 minutes. The line-up is Chris Fischer on vocals, Matt Mayr and Martin Hartmann on guitars, Ronni Lechleitner on bass and backing vocals, and Matze Wilhelm on drums. The band made the video for "Tehom" themselves; Mayr recorded and mixed it at DC-Records and Sergej Dukart mastered it at Walzwerk Tonstudio. A teaser for the EP sits on the label's channel.
