Godmode is the eighth In This Moment album and their first for BMG. The American band formed in Los Angeles in 2005 and are known for Maria Brink's singing and for stage shows built like theatre; since their 2007 debut Beautiful Tragedy they have moved out of metalcore into something heavier and more overtly dramatic, gathering an audience steadily as they went. Ten tracks, among them the title song and the three that went out ahead of the record — "The Purge", "Sanctify Me" and "I Would Die For You". Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills guests on "Damaged". BMG released it on 27 October 2023 as 538950232. There is no Japanese edition. About thirty-nine minutes.
