War Machine is Impellitteri's twelfth studio album and the first in six years, with Rob Rock back on vocals and Paul Bostaph — of Slayer and Kerry King — on drums; Jacob Hansen mixed and mastered it. The sleeve was designed by TERU, guitarist with Versailles and Jupiter, his third Impellitteri cover after Venom and The Nature of the Beast. Victor Entertainment released the Japanese edition on 6 November 2024 in two forms: the single CD, VICP-65625, and a deluxe two-disc set, VIZP-180. The deluxe adds Live! Fast! Loud!, a board-mix live album drawn from the band's 1995 and 1996 Japanese shows that circulated only as a 1998 fan-club bootleg and is issued here, with Chris Impellitteri's blessing, as an official bootleg CD. Frontiers released the album internationally on 8 November. Official videos exist for Out Of My Mind (Heavy Metal) and Power Grab.
