An End, Once and for All is the debut album by HumanKind, the five-piece German metalcore band. They formed in 2022 and had a record out the next year, which is young by any measure; Samuel Scholz of Killing Your Idols sings and Maria Kimberly Huehn plays guitar, and Christoph Wieczorek of Annisokay produced it. Everything the style is made of is here — heavy riffs, tight playing, a voice that hides nothing. The subject is the mental difficulty a life runs into, and both the music and the words face forward without flinching, converging on the idea that nobody is alone and that what is in the way can be got past. Ward Records issued the Japanese edition on 9 February 2024. Ten tracks, about thirty-nine minutes.
