Full Tilt Overdrive is the twelfth album by House of Lords, the American melodic rock band led by James Christian, who have been going since the end of the 1980s. The line-up changed considerably for the previous record, and the arrival of keyboard player Mark Mangold, known for Touch and American Tears, drew the most attention; he played and wrote on it, and the classic, wistful melodies that resulted were well received. Christian and Mangold co-produce here as well, and where the last album brought in a crowd of outside writers, almost everything on this one was written by the three of them with guitarist Jimi — songs that carry melody and force together. Frontiers Records released it on 11 October 2024 and Marquee Inc. issued the Japanese edition, MICP-11923, on 23 October, adding an acoustic version of Don't Wanna Say Goodbye for twelve tracks in all.
