Everest is the first Halestorm studio album since Back From the Dead in 2022. Atlantic released it on 8 August 2025 and Warner Music Japan issued the Japanese edition the same day as WPCR-18751, with notes, lyrics and translations; that pressing runs to fourteen tracks, closing with two Japan-only bonuses, "Jolene" and "Hello", and the first run came with a card printed with a handwritten message from Lzzy Hale. The band is Lzzy Hale on vocals and her brother Arejay Hale on drums with Joe Hottinger on guitar and Josh Smith on bass, and for this record, the Japanese label says, they worked with Dave Cobb, a producer whose other credits include Brandi Carlile and Chris Stapleton. DJay Brawner directed the video for the title track and Chase Denton the one for "Like A Woman Can".
