H.E.A.T (2023 New Mix) is a fresh mix of the 2008 debut by H.E.A.T, the Swedish melodic hard rock band. The original reached the Swedish top ten and put the vocabulary of 1980s hard rock back together with skill and affection rather than nostalgia -- bluesy Whitesnake licks, Def Leppard gang choruses, guitar solos kept short and to the point, and a drum sound of a size no record made after 1991 seems to have. This is the band taking that album back into their own hands. Nineteen tracks in all: the album, plus the original version of "Cry", the 2008 version of "Stay", a radio edit, a karaoke version and a live recording. earMUSIC released it on 13 October 2023 as an import; there is no Japanese edition. About sixty-eight minutes. metal100 files it under 17 November, but tower.jp gives 13 October for 0218840EMU.
