LINER NOTES
Steel Burning Live is a Japan-only EP by the Greek guitarist Gus G., known as the guitarist of Firewind, issued by King Records on 7 October 2026 (KICP-4123). It was planned as a Japanese exclusive to coincide with his appearance at FULL METAL JAPAN 2026, held on 24 and 25 October at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama. Four of the six tracks — "Steel Burner", "Force Majeure", "Frenemy" and "My Premonition" — are live recordings from Rock Hard Festival 2026, played at the Amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on 24 May 2026. Three of them come from his fifth solo album Steel Burner (Japanese edition 22 May 2026, KICP-4117), while "Force Majeure" was first released in 2018 as a collaboration with Vinnie Moore. The two remaining tracks are studio covers: Black Sabbath's "The Mob Rules" with Ronnie Romero on vocals, and Iron Maiden's "Murders in the rue morgue" with Nicklas Sonne on vocals and SAKI playing the guitar solo. The credited recording line-up is Gus G. on guitar, Ronnie Romero on vocals, Andrea Arcangeli on bass and Johan Nunez on drums. First-press copies carry an external bonus sticker (50 x 50 mm) using the jacket design.
