Second to None is the second album by Grand, the Swedish band that began when Mattias Olofsson, a singer with a long career behind him, found common ground with Jakob Svensson of Wigelius, who plays guitar and produces here. Both grew up on 1980s AOR and melodic rock -- Toto, Foreigner, Giant -- and their 2022 debut, with the clarity and the melancholy melody of a Scandinavian record, was well received abroad; the response sent them back into the studio in the spring of 2023. Nina Söderqvist guests on "Kryptonite". The Japanese edition adds "How Do You Sleep at Night?" as a Japan-only bonus track. Marquee Inc. released it on 19 January 2024. Twelve tracks, about fifty-one minutes.
