Disintegrate

Girish and The Chronicles formed in 2009 in Sikkim, in the north-east of India, and have been based in Bengaluru since 2013. Frontiers Music Srl release Disintegrate worldwide on 20 November 2026, and Ward Records issue the Japanese edition the same day as GQCS-91796. What the band do is rooted in the hard rock and heavy metal of the 1980s, and it is carried by the range of their frontman Girish Pradhan; this record keeps that and pushes the sound heavier and more contemporary around it. "Generation Coward" led the way — melodic hard rock at its centre with modern alternative rock worked into it, riffs hard against a long melodic line — appearing as a visualizer in August 2026, and a music video for the title track followed in September. Pradhan also sings in The End Machine and The Nail, and in 2025 he performed a rock arrangement of Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain" on America's Got Talent, taking four yeses through to the live rounds. Ten songs on the international edition; the Japanese one adds an acoustic version of "You" as a bonus track, for eleven.
