Divergence is the first Ghostseeker album. The Australian metalcore band had drawn close to a million streams on each of the major platforms with their 2022 debut EP Initium Novum and built an audience touring at home before signing to ROAR, the Reigning Phoenix Music imprint, for this record. What sets them apart is the pairing of two singers: Celeste Bojczuk's open, sustained lines against Daniel Breen's harsher but still melodic delivery. Heavy riffs and a tight rhythm section carry arrangements thick with sampling, atmospheric and approachable at once. Tim Campey and Corey Walkden play guitar and Daniel Gay drums. Ward Records issued the Japanese CD (GQCS-91606) on 25 April 2025 with translated lyrics and a commentary booklet. Ten tracks, four of them with official videos.
