Hard To Stop

The second GASTEM album since the band reunited. GASTEM formed in Damascus, Maryland in 1985 and were active until 1989 on the Baltimore-Washington D.C. club circuit, sharing stages with fellow Maryland band KIX. Mark Schenker went on to join KIX full-time in 2001 and stayed until that band's final show in 2023. They reunited in early 2024 after 34 years and released III through Avalon Street Records that October; in 2025 Eonian Records marked their fortieth anniversary by reissuing the long out-of-print Catch the Flame (1985) and Do It Like Wild (1986) as remixed and remastered deluxe editions with unreleased bonus tracks and track-by-track commentary from the band. Eonian describe Hard To Stop as a companion album recorded during the III sessions. The line-up is Rob Galpin on guitars and vocals, Craig Stegall on drums and Mark Schenker on fretless bass. Track ten, "Happy New Year", had already appeared as a standalone single in December 2024, and "All My Love" was the record's advance single and video in June 2026. Eonian released it in the United States on 10 July 2026; the Japanese edition, a direct import in Japanese packaging, follows on 30 October 2026. Eleven songs.
