Rebirth

Frontline formed in Nuremberg in 1989 around founding vocalist Stephan Kämmerer, who still fronts the band. The debut The State Of Rock arrived in 1994, and Two Faced, Heroes, Right Attitude, Against The World, The Seventh Sign and Circles followed, the last of them in 2006. Rebirth is the first studio album since then, and the band describe it as their own resurrection after more than twenty years of silence. It is also the first record the group has made since guitarist and songwriter Robby Böbel died in 2022. Alongside Kämmerer is Christian Mühlroth, whom Frontiers Music credit as the album's new guitarist and its producer, with Diego De Sousa Pires on keyboards, Eric Juris on bass and Andreas Latzko on drums. The main programme runs to fourteen new songs. Three of them appeared ahead of the album, each with an official video: Burning Horizon in February 2026, Two Tickets To The Afterglow in March and After You're Gone in April. Frontiers Music released the record internationally on 15 May 2026, and Avalon (Marquee Inc.) issued the Japanese edition on 3 June 2026, adding an acoustic reading of Two Tickets To The Afterglow at the end.
