Buried Blue is only the second album from Finnish gothic metal band For My Pain..., who released their debut on Spinefarm Records in 2003 and then went quiet for around two decades; the comeback, issued by Rainheart Productions on 9 January 2026, went on to reach No. 3 on the Finnish album chart. The line-up brings together singer Juha Kylmänen and players from Poisonblack, Reflexion, Eternal Tears of Sorrow and other Finnish bands, and Troy Donockley guests on "Windows Are Weeping"; the credits published with the advance tracks name Kylmänen as recording engineer at Whiteleaf Studios, Mikko Karmila as mixer at Finnvox and Travis Smith as cover artist. King Records' Japanese edition (KICP-4114), the band's first release in Japan, followed on 22 April 2026 with a new remaster and a bonus "Kurenai no Kizuna Mix" of "Tether", twelve tracks in all. Lyric videos for "WitchBitch Elite" and "Windows Are Weeping" and streaming visualizers for "Time Will Heal Our Wounds" and "Hungry For Desire" are online.
