Our Blessed Hope is the second album by Flames of Fire, the Swedish Christian metal band built around Christian Liljegren of Narnia. It follows their 2022 debut and keeps classic hard rock as its foundation while playing heavier, more organic and more varied than before, with Liljegren -- by now one of Sweden's best-known singers in this music -- in stronger voice. The line-up has passed through Narnia, Pain of Salvation, Divinefire, House of Shakira, Royal Hunt, The Waymaker and Brotthog. Liljegren and Mats had tried to start a band in the 1980s pointed at Yngwie, MSG, Rainbow, Iron Maiden and Europe and never managed it; this is that band, finally made real in 2021. Alfred, previously of The Waymaker and Golden Resurrection, joins as their permanent drummer here. Bickee Music released the Japanese-packaged import on 22 December 2023 as BKMY-1137, three weeks after the overseas edition. Ten tracks.
