"Gravity 2.0" is the album that British melodic rock / AOR project First Light release through Pride & Joy Music on 21 August 2026 (cat. no. PJM15006). The band grew out of a 2020 lockdown collaboration between lifelong friends Dave Hardman (guitar) and Carl Sharples (bass), and now also features New York vocalist Warren Passaro, FM keyboardist Didge Digital and drummer Andy Jakeman. The record is a rebuilt version of their debut "Gravity", which appeared on 23 February 2023 as a digital-only release: the guitars, bass and vocals were all re-recorded, and Pete Newdeck and Harry Hess handled the remix and remaster. This is the album's first appearance on CD. Seven songs carry over from the original — its closing "Gravity (Reprise)" does not — and they are joined by two new tracks, "Catch Me When I'm Falling" and "What If", plus an acoustic reading of "Leave A Light On" from the 2025 album "Elemental", for ten tracks in total. "Catch Me When I'm Falling" went out ahead of the album on 17 July 2026, produced and engineered by Pete Newdeck. The digital edition is titled "Gravity 2.0 (Remix)" and appends "(Remix)" to the seven carried-over songs.
