Heart of the Young is the second album by Fighter V, a melodic rock band from Hergiswil in Switzerland. Jona Tee of H.E.A.T produced their 2020 debut Fighter, which drew notice for hook-filled writing well beyond what a new band usually manages, but the touring that followed was halted by the pandemic and in 2021 singer Dave, bassist Luca and guitarist Marco all left. The remaining members recruited around themselves until the present line-up settled, and with Emo now singing the arena-rock frame is still there under a rougher surface. Thomas 'Plec' Johansson, a member of Sweden's Mean Streak who has produced and engineered for Soilwork among many others, produced it. The album appeared internationally on 20 September 2024; Marquee Inc. issued the Japanese edition, MICP-11856, on 23 October with No Surrender added as a Japan-only bonus track, for fourteen tracks in all.
