Warriors is the album Feuerschwanz built for listeners outside Germany. The medieval-themed folk metal band turned twenty in 2024, and rather than a new record they went back through the catalogue and re-recorded ten of its best-known songs in English. They started in 2004, took their first German number one with Memento Mori in 2021, and won the rest of Europe over on the festival circuit at Wacken and Summer Breeze. Only one song here is new — "The Unholy Grail", with guests from Dominum and Orden Ogan — and one is a cover, of "Valhalla Calling" by the game-music project Miracle Of Sound. Napalm Records released it on 3 May 2024; Marquee Incorporated issued the Japanese edition, MICP-11876, on 1 May, a week after it had put out the Japanese edition of the band's previous album Fegefeuer. Twelve tracks, about forty-four minutes.
