The Skies Above Eternity is the second album by Fellowship, the English power metal band who debuted with The Saberlight Chronicles in 2022 and have drawn more attention than most of the current crop working the sword-and-sorcery tradition that runs from Rainbow through Rhapsody of Fire and Twilight Force. It moves between headlong fast songs and mellow ballads, and the scale of it reflects a band that has grown through touring; the result is polished symphonic power metal. Scarlet Records released it on 22 November 2024, two days after Marquee Inc. had issued the Japanese edition as MICP-11913 on 20 November. Nine tracks, with Iron Eyes added as a Japan-only bonus. Official videos accompany Hold Up Your Hearts (Again) and Dawnbreaker.
