Reconnect 'N' Ignite is an album by Fate, the Danish melodic rock band, and their first in eleven years. The group began when Hank Shermann left Mercyful Fate and signed a deal with EMI in Denmark; their self-titled debut came out in 1985 and Shermann himself left in 1988. Line-up changes and long pauses followed, and the band that eventually settled signed to Frontiers Records for this album. The polished melodic writing that ran through If Not for the Devil is still here, with Torben Enevoldsen at the centre of the songwriting. Frontiers released it on 18 October 2024 and Marquee Inc. issued the Japanese edition, MICP-11924, on 23 October, adding an acoustic version of Hold On as a bonus track for twelve in all.
