Chaosophilia is the second album by Exodikon, a four-piece from Hungary formed in 2004. They began as a melodic death metal band, released a demo in 2007 and the EP Végtelenbe zárva / Trapped in Infinity in 2011, and toured their own country behind it. A new drummer and a move to Budapest followed, and in 2021 the Hungarian label H-Music released their first full-length, Árnyam útján, which added black metal to the mix and was sung entirely in Hungarian. This album, three years later, keeps the thrash and melodic death metal at its base and brings more brutality, melancholy and drama to it — nine tracks, about 46 minutes. Wormholedeath released it on 29 March 2024 and it reached Japan on 30 September 2024 as a direct import with Japanese packaging, BITX-1334.
