In Memoriam is the second album by Evermore, a Swedish melodic power metal trio. Their first, Court of the Tyrant King of 2021, was well received and reissued by Scarlet Records in 2022; this one keeps to the same road and widens it. Soaring high vocals, classically shaped guitar solos and a drive that never loses the drama are all things Nordic and German metal do well, and the band put them forward plainly, the title track building to the most stately writing here. Japan gets a standard edition and a limited first pressing packaged with a T-shirt. Warner Music Japan released it on 15 December 2023 as WPCR-18648, after the overseas edition of 21 April. Nine tracks, about forty-one minutes.
