Back to Yesterday is an album of twelve songs — eleven originals and one Lady Gaga cover — by Emil Sigfridsson, the Swedish singer who came to notice by winning his way through a television audition. Production went to Tobias Wernersson, who plays guitar in the hard rock band Supreme Majesty and appears in a musical Sigfridsson produces. Asked for a melodic hard rock record, Wernersson took on the writing and the production and played guitar, bass and keyboards as well. Two people who know each other this well have ended up with a record packed end to end with melodies that stay put. Ward Records issued the Japanese edition on 29 March 2024. Twelve tracks, about fifty-six minutes.
