Innervoid is the thirteenth album by Eldritch, the Italian progressive power metal band formed in 1991. Their 1995 debut Seeds of Rage came out on InsideOut Music and drew attention for writing that had digested Queensrÿche, Dream Theater, Fates Warning and Coroner. Line-ups have changed many times since, Metallica, Pantera and Machine Head have found their way in, and a record has arrived every few years. This one, two years after the last, is built on dark and melancholy melody, with odd time signatures worked in but never far enough to become difficult for its own sake. Alex Jarusso, newly in on vocals, sings it. Ward Records released it on 8 December 2023 as GQCS-91409; Scarlet Records had it out overseas on 17 November. Ten tracks, about forty-nine minutes.
