Ghost Sequence

"Ghost Sequence" is the opening theme of the television series 『とある暗部の少女共棲』, which starts broadcasting on 9 October 2026. It is the first anime tie-up East Of Eden have taken, and it was announced on 3 July 2026 at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO), the closing night of their Zepp tour. The song reaches digital services on 17 October 2026, ahead of the discs. Warner Music Japan puts out two CD editions on 4 November 2026: WPCL-13843, the regular one, carries the title song, "ONE WAY" and "Evolve (English Version)" plus an instrumental of each, six tracks in all; WPCL-13844, the anime edition, is shorter at three — the title song, its TV-size edit and one instrumental. The newly drawn sleeve belongs to the anime edition alone and shows 麦野沈利, one of the series' main characters. Words and music for the title song are both by 藤永龍太郎 of Elements Garden. "ONE WAY" is a song included in the 『とある』-series gaming machine 「e一方通行（アクセラレータ）最狂」, with lyrics by 川田まみ and music by Mao. "Evolve", the song the band debuted with in 2023, is heard in a new recording made by the present five members, its lyrics rewritten entirely in English. Those five are Ayasa on violin, Yuki on guitar, MINA on bass, MIZUKI on drums and 湊あかね on vocals. The series' own site publishes no English or romanised title for the anime; the "A Certain Dark Side Item" seen on animate's international storefront is a retailer's rendering.
