Invasion

Drakkar formed in Belgium in 1983. Their debut X-Rated appeared in 1988 on the Paris label New Musidisc and led to European support slots with Queensryche, Metallica, Overkill and Slayer. Since regrouping in 2011 they have released Once Upon a Time in Hell (2014), the live album Once Upon a Time Hellive (2016) and Diabolical Empathy (2017), making Invasion their fifth album and first studio record in nearly nine years. The line-up is Leni Andersen on vocals, Thomas Vanhorebeek and Nico RR on guitars, founding member Guy Duvy on bass and Adrien Delgambe on drums; the band credit Recording You Studio and Pat Thayse alongside Studio Canal 10, with cover art and layout by Dimitris Tzortzis. The first advance track was "666 'n' Rock'n' Roll (Tribute To Them)", whose lyric video appeared on Wormholedeath's channel on 11 May 2026; the label describe it there as a dedication to Ozzy and Lemmy. The title track followed. The original release is dated 19 June 2026 on Wormholedeath, and WormHoleDeath Japan issue it here on 30 September 2026 as a direct import with Japanese packaging (BITX1481), carrying the same nine tracks.
