Hic Svnt Dracones is an album by Dragony, the Austrian symphonic power metal band; the title is the Latin phrase old maps used for uncharted water — here be dragons. Singer Siegfried Samer wrote the lyrics, guitarist Frank Pitters produced the record at his own Silverline Music studio in Austria, and Jacob Hansen mixed and mastered it. The songs move between the age of sail and Norse myth, and Ambre Vourvahis of Xandria guests on Dreamchasers. Steamhammer released it on 11 October 2024. No Japanese edition was made, so it reaches this country as an import. Twelve tracks including a bonus track, with official videos for five of them.
