The Dragonheart's Tale is the fifth album by Dragonheart, a Brazilian power metal band, and their first in eight years. They formed in 1997 and debuted with Underdark in 2000, then widened their audience steadily across Throne of Alliance in 2002, Vengeance in Black in 2005 and The Battle Sanctuary in 2015. This one brings back their original singer, Eduardo Marques, and is power metal by the book: songs that run, melodic riffing, a strong high voice. Their range is part of the appeal too, from acoustic pieces that sound like tavern music to fully symphonic arrangements. Henning Basse, who has played live with Gamma Ray and Firewind, guests, and Fredrik Nordström mixed and mastered. Ward Records released it on 29 December 2023 as GQCS-91416, after the overseas edition of 25 August. Fifteen tracks, about fifty-three minutes.
