LINER NOTES
Ten songs of heavy, riff-driven rock with a post-grunge spine and a darker, doom-tinged air make up the debut of DRAB, a New Orleans band formed in 2020. "Huntress", "Sand", "Sirens", "Dumpster Fire" and "Candyman" all had videos on the band's own channel in 2022, the year Rock-N-Review, according to the label's announcement, named it the top album; the band have also opened for Soulfly, Pallbearer and YOB.
Jack Miele produced and mastered it, engineering with Kassie Netherland and mixing with David Troia. On the Bandcamp credits Steve Mignano plays guitar, sings and wrote the lyrics, with Devin Kerrigan on bass and Landon Cheramie on drums; Casey Freitas and Aaron Levy later took over bass and drums. The band released it themselves on Bandcamp on 1 January 2022, and Wormholedeath, after a lyric video for the opener, "Lonely Place", in May 2025, gave it a worldwide release on 6 June 2025. WormHoleDeath Japan's direct import with Japanese packaging (BITX1499) is dated 30 November 2026.
