Until One of Us Dies

The third album by Double Crush Syndrome, a trio from Mülheim an der Ruhr in Germany. Guitarist Andy Brings started the band in 2013, having played in Sodom from 1991 to 1995, on Tapping The Vein (1992) and Get What You Deserve (1994). The line-up is Brings on vocals and guitars, Slick Prolidol on bass and vocals and Markus Herzog on drums. It follows Death To Pop from 2019. Brings has credited the return to a 2024 Spanish tour supporting Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg and a 2025 German tour with The Last Internationale. Recording began in December 2025 in Cologne with producer Wolfgang Stach, who worked on Brings' Sodom records three decades earlier. The band have no record company and financed the album themselves, crowdfunding it from March 2026. It was self-released on 5 June 2026 on CD, vinyl and download; the Japanese CD followed on 30 June 2026 through Bit Organization. Five songs appeared ahead of it with official videos: "Free Hugs For Dictators", "Mercury In Retrograde", "It's A Trap", "Rome" and the title track. Brings has called the first a break with his habit of keeping politics out of his lyrics. "Mi Corazón Salvaje" is sung in Spanish. Ten songs in about 33 minutes.
