Don Airey has played keyboards for Rainbow, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake and Gary Moore, and has been in Deep Purple since 2002; Pushed to the Edge is his own record, released by earMUSIC on 28 March 2025 with Ward Records issuing the Japanese edition the same day, with translated lyrics and a commentary booklet. Two products went on sale together: the eleven-track single disc (GQCS-91575) and a three-disc limited first pressing (GQCS-91572) that adds a two-CD concert recorded in Hamburg, where the set runs through the music he has been part of — Rainbow's "Difficult to Cure", "All Night Long" and "Lost in Hollywood", Deep Purple's "Pictures of Home", "Child in Time", "Black Night" and "Hush", and Gary Moore's "Still Got the Blues". "Tell Me", "Moon Rising" and "Godz of War" have been released as official audio.
