Hey Living People is the first Dominum album, and the Japanese edition came out on the same day as their second. The title is a greeting called across from the dead to the living, which is the conceit the whole band keeps up, Doctor Dead on vocals and the rest of them made up as corpses. The music is heavy metal with horror all over it — strong riffs, choruses built to be sung back, a gothic edge to the arrangements — across thirteen tracks mixed by Jacob Hansen. Three covers sit in there, and none of them from the same place: Dead or Alive's "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)", Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy" and Midnight Oil's "Beds Are Burning". Napalm Records released it on 29 December 2023, and Ward Records issued the Japanese CD (GQCS-91547) on 27 December 2024. Four songs have official videos.
