Coroner Records released The Dormant Stranger in Italy on 21 March 2025; King Records had put the Japanese CD (KICP-4078) out two days earlier, on 19 March, with a commentary booklet and translated lyrics. Disarmonia Mundi's method is unchanged — singing that moves between clean and growled, riffs and synth layers arranged so the melody stays on top — and the three songs released ahead of the album, "Adrift Among Insignificant Strangers", "Oathbreaker" and "Crossroads To Eternity", show the shape of it. Eleven tracks plus a Japanese bonus, "Ravenant", for twelve.
