Endless is an album by DGM, the Italian progressive metal band, and it arrived less than a year after Life, which they had released at the end of 2023. It is a concept record following a man trying to understand the choices that shaped his life, held together by a single question: what would have happened had he chosen differently. It opens with him taking stock of where he is, uncertain about the decisions that brought him there and turning over the life he did not live; the middle looks back at the forks in the road and the chances he let pass; and by the end, older and no wiser about it, he is still worrying at the unanswerable why. Fate and free will are carried by technical playing and tightly built songs that keep the tension to the last bar. Frontiers Records released it worldwide on 18 October 2024 and Marquee Inc. issued the Japanese edition, MICP-11909, the same day, adding an acoustic version of Blank Pages for nine tracks in all.
