Viva Rock N' Roll is the second album by Deraps, the Canadian duo led by guitarist and singer Jacob Deraps, with Josh Gallagher on drums and vocals; the Japanese edition carries a subtitle of its own alongside it. Ward Records recall that their 2022 debut drew attention for carrying something of the earliest Van Halen records in its sound, and say that this one keeps that while sharpening the guitar playing and pushing the songs harder. The title track runs fast, "Animal Eyes" sets cutting guitar against the vocal, "Last Fall" leans on thick backing harmonies, and the dry American hard rock across the record suggests the West Coast more than Canada. Metalville Records released it worldwide on 23 May 2025 and Ward Records issued the Japanese CD (GQCS-91568) the same day, eleven tracks with translated lyrics and a Japanese essay. Home studio videos exist for the title track and "Last Fall", and "Setting Sun" has a visualizer.
