Six years separate The World Was Never Enough from Panoptical, and it is the first Days of Jupiter album since they signed to Reigning Phoenix Music. The Swedish band formed in 2010, debuted with Secrets Brought to Life in 2012, played the Sweden Rock Festival off the back of it, and then released Only Ashes Remain in 2015, New Awakening in 2017 and Panoptical in 2018 before going quiet. Alternative metal is the label they carry, but the melodic writing here leans much closer to traditional heavy metal, and the ten tracks and forty-four minutes keep modern weight and sung melody in the same frame. The album came out worldwide on 7 February 2025; Ward Records issued the Japanese CD (GQCS-91562) the same day with a commentary booklet and translated lyrics. Five of the ten songs have official music videos.
