Speed of Darkness is the thirteenth album by D-A-D, the Danish hard rock band formed in Copenhagen in 1982 as Disneyland After Dark and renamed later, and their first in four and a half years; the band marked forty years together around the time they made it.

Speed of Darkness is the thirteenth album by D-A-D, the Danish hard rock band formed in Copenhagen in 1982 as Disneyland After Dark and renamed later, and their first in four and a half years; the band marked forty years together around the time they made it. AFM Records released it on 4 October 2024, and King Records issued the Japanese edition on 18 December as KICP-4085. The new-release listing at metal100.com files it under 27 November, but the publisher gives 18 December. The international edition runs to fourteen tracks; the Japanese pressing adds Let Myself Out of Love for fifteen. There is an official lyric video for the title track and an official music video for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
