Curse of Cain's second album, Achtung!, came out on ROAR on 26 September 2025, with Ward Records issuing the Japanese CD the same day as GQCS-91643, ten songs in about 37 minutes. The title is German for "attention". Bassist Jonas Asplind, previously of Follow the Cipher and Ad Infinitum, started the Swedish band in 2014, and its members perform in character under the stage names The Soulkeeper on vocals, The Timekeeper on guitar, The Pirate on bass and vocals, Rainbow on percussion and vocals, and The Mechanic. Their Japanese label describes the group's self-declared modern sci-fi metal as cinematic, built on heavy guitars, dark electronics and melodic female vocals. "All You Zombies" is a cover of The Hooters. Seven of the ten songs have videos on the Reigning Phoenix Music channels; Rainbow describes the title track as "a warning and a promise—wrapped in distortion".
