Apocalypse – Mokushi

Crown Lands are a Canadian progressive hard rock duo formed in 2015 by Cody Bowles and Kevin Comeau. Bowles sings and plays drums and flutes; Comeau handles guitars, bass, Mellotron and synthesisers. Apocalypse is their third album with vocals, after the 2020 self-titled debut and Fearless in 2023. The duo won a Juno Award as best new group in 2021. InsideOutMusic issued it overseas on 15 May 2026; Sony Music Labels followed in Japan on 24 June 2026, the duo's first Japanese domestic release. The standard edition, SICP-31864, is a Blu-spec CD2 with commentary, lyrics and translations. A Japan-only limited deluxe edition (2CD, SICP 31862~3) adds the 2025 instrumental works Ritual I and Ritual II on a second disc, their first CD issue. They produced it with David Bottrill and Nick Raskulinecz, largely in their own studio, and laid it out as a two-sided LP narrative set in the world of Fearless: side A runs from "Proclamation I" to "The Revenants I", side B holds only the nineteen-minute title track, a suite in thirteen movements. The title track went out ahead on 6 February 2026, with official videos for "Through the Looking Glass" and "Blackstar". Seven songs, about 42 minutes.
