Dark Dimension

Dark Dimension is the fourth album by the Tampere heavy metal band Crimson Day. Wormholedeath released it worldwide on 22 May 2026, and Wormholedeath Japan issued the Japanese edition on 30 June 2026 as a direct import with Japanese packaging. The band formed in 2013 and reached this record by way of a self-titled EP that year, Order of the Shadows (Iron Shield Records, 2015), At the Mountains of Madness (2018) and the self-titled Crimson Day (2023); a line-up change in 2020 brought in singer Milka Uusitalo. The players are Uusitalo, Ari Balzar on lead guitar, Janne Rantanen on guitar and screams, Jesse “Kämy” Kämäräinen on bass and Janne Ollikainen on drums. Jussi Kulomaa mixed it and Svante Forsbäck mastered it. The label describe it as a record about inner conflict, alternate realities and the shadows that give human existence its shape, and the band say the title track is about escaping the real world and returning changed. False Prophet went out ahead of the album with a video on 20 March 2026 and Hexed followed in April; the title track, Song Of Fire and War Machine each got a lyric video. The Japanese edition carries the import's ten titles, with no bonus track. Ten songs.
