Ward Records' Japanese CD of Course Of Fate's Behind The Eclipse (GQCS-91727), with translated lyrics and Japanese liner notes, came out on 18 February 2026, after Roar had released the album on 30 January. Singer Eivind Gunnesen wrote the lyrics for "Sky Is Falling" to music by guitarist Kenneth Henriksen, and he also directed the video for "Acolyte", a song the band says returns to the universe it introduced in 2020. A video for "Don't Close Your Eyes" also appeared before release, and Thomas "Plec" Johansson is credited with mixing and mastering all three of those songs. Norwegian progressive metal band Course Of Fate debuted in 2020 with the concept album Mindweaver and followed it with Somnium in 2023. Their third album is not a concept record, but Ward Records says the interplay of darkness and light runs through its songs; the band produced it, and Stan W. Decker supplied the artwork.
