Before We All Die

CLAWFINGER are a Swedish-Norwegian rap-metal band formed in Stockholm in the early 1990s; Before We All Die is their eighth studio album. The 1993 debut Deaf Dumb Blind sold over 600,000 copies worldwide and won a Swedish Grammis in the hardrock/metal category. Six more followed, ending with Life Will Kill You in 2007; the band then stopped recording and split up in 2013, resuming live work in 2014. In 2025 they signed to Perception, a division of Reigning Phoenix Music, which issued it on 20 February 2026, nineteen years after the last one. Ward Records release the Japanese edition on 19 June 2026 as GQCS-91763, with a commentary booklet and translated lyrics in Japanese. The line-up is Zak Tell on vocals, Jocke Skog on guitar and keyboards, Bård Torstensen on guitars, André Skaug on bass and Micke Dahlén on drums. The lyrics deal with the wrecking of the planet, dishonesty in public life and a society that would rather not look. Two of the songs had already appeared as stand-alone singles: Tear You Down in 2019 and Environmental Patients in 2022. Four songs led it out: Scum, Ball & Chain, Big Brother and Going Down (Like Titanic). Twelve songs.
