Cavalera — the band Max and Iggor Cavalera now run under their own surname — re-recorded Sepultura's 1987 second album Schizophrenia in full, the third such project after Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions in 2023. The original was the record Andreas Kisser joined for, and the one that won Sepultura their Roadrunner contract before Beneath the Remains took them worldwide. Max plays guitar and sings and Iggor drums, joined here by Max's son Igor Amadeus Cavalera of Go Ahead And Die on bass and Travis Stone of Pig Destroyer on guitar. The closing "Nightmares of Delirium" is not a re-recording at all but a new song, carried on every edition as a bonus track. Nuclear Blast released the album on 21 June 2024; Ward Records followed with the Japanese CD, GQCS-91478, on 5 July.
