Exuvia, the second studio album from UK metal band Cage Fight, takes its title from the word for a shed skin or husk, and its cover, a radiation mask, links that idea to an experience involving singer Rachel Aspe's grandmother. According to the label it holds on to the raw old-school hardcore at the band's core while opening out into more layered atmospheres and melody. Aspe is joined by James Monteith on guitar, Will Horsman on bass and Nick Plews on drums; Sam Bloor recorded them at Lower Lane Studios, and Jim Pinder, known for his work with Sleep Token and Malevolence, mixed the eleven songs. Benighted's Julien Truchan guests on "Pick Your Fighter", and Rob Parton is credited as a featured guest on "Confined". Spinefarm released the album on 1 May 2026 after official videos for "IHYG (I Hate Your Guts)", "Pig", "Un Bon Souvenir", "Pick Your Fighter" and "Oxygen", and Ultra-Vybe's Japanese release (SPINE801091PJ) followed on 23 May 2026.
